ABOUT LYCHEE LINE

The essence of LYCHEE LINE® originates
from the rich culture of South Africa, derived from the region's
art and exotic tradition. In Durban, South Africa men carry
vines of lychees, a fruit similar to strawberries, strewn
over their shoulders with a long stick supporting the satchels
of fruit. This timeless technique inspired the identifiable
design and name of the LYCHEE LINE® stick handbag.
Born of a unique and stylish vision, the ever-evolving brand
is fueled by the textures, vibrant colors and emotions inspired
by young designer Natalie Kathleen Parkington's imagination.
Natalie's extensive training in design and art from around
the world engendered her with the creative capability to match
her energy and originality with her refined and rebellious
sensibilities.
Each LYCHEE LINE® handbag, tote, clutch, wristlet, and
accessory is distinctive because of the high quality craftsmanship,
varying fabrics, and fine leathers that back the name LYCHEE
LINE®. These details remain constant in every bag. LYCHEE
LINE® is known for inspired use of rich dupioni silk,
fresh cottons, 100% wool, fine leather, sterling silver bangles,
and fabrics attained from around the world. As a brand, LYCHEE
LINE® takes pride in offering a high quality, fashionable
product at a price point lower than other mainstream designers.
Natalie's inspiration to create LYCHEE LINE® comes from
her high-spirited mother, a South African-borne artist. Dallas
Sumerville, whose lifelong passion to create merged with her
deep understanding of her daughter's untamed imagination,
enabled her to bring Natalie's first vision of a versatile
stick handbag to life. Natalie's flair for blending colors
and textures to make a statement unlike any other has driven
the creation of over 100 different styles of handbags. The
brand evolves with every handbag produced ensuring that no
two are ever truly the same.
